Sunday 11th December

Before we depart for our relatively short holiday in the Southern Hemisphere, we have been very kindly invited to a send off brunch at Glenys and Rob's home South Down House. We were delighted to find that Herman (a South African barrister) and Jay ( a retired surgeon who lives locally) were also invited and in spite of the early start (10:30), champagne and white wine was soon flowing to accompany Glenys's excellent salmon, parsnip and potato hash. Excellent fare and stimulating conversation!
All too soon it was time to return to Skinners Cottage and complete the endless packing and checking  of documents etc. Not long now though!
