In the morning we took the bus to the Feldberg (the highest mountain in the Schwarzwald) on the advice of the Tourist lady and even though the weather was overcast enjoyed the ride, the views and a good walk back down the mountain.
When we arrived back at the Titisee, the weather had cleared. The LLW was finally persuaded about the benefits of the Ebikes and agreed to a ride around the lake and then on to Hinterzarten. (this was a cunning move on behalf of Ray to finally persuade her that the ride (strenuous) to the 3 lakes would be a good idea. Fabulous weather helped and so did very level riding followed by an excellent ice cream in Hinterzarten (I think that was key!)
