The Titisee (apparently named after the Emperor Titus) is beautiful and after a walk into the town and a coffee, we decided to consult the tourist office about local attractions and facilities.
The lady there was the most helpful tourist lady ever, charming, beautifully dressed in the local costume and just could not do enough for us. We knew a little about the Schwarzwald card but she filled us in with the detail and we were delighted to discover that pretty much everything was compris, FoC and this included the hire of Ebikes (electric motor assisted hybrid bikes).
Ray needed no further encouragement and cycled around the lake twice. The LLW had a walk and ensured that she was fully conversant with shoe and handbag shopping opportunities.
We then headed off to Neustadt Titisee to stock up on food etc and decided upon roast chicken for dinner. Back to the apartment, a lovely swim in the lake and then a delightful dinner on our terrace/garden overlooking the lake. This is very good!
